Senior Manufacturing Data Analyst

As a Senior Manufacturing Data Analyst, you will be directly responsible for implementing complex models, optimisations and data queries for our product and client facing teams as well as providing guidance on best practices. You will also be working closely with the deployment analyst team to derive powerful insights from the comprehensive data sets generated by Arcstone’s tools.

What will be your area of focus?


  • Work directly with customers to understand complex calculations and models that need to be developed to best utilize their incoming data and data collected by Arcstone’s toolsets.

  • Leverage Arcstone’s digital suite of tools to collect necessary information from manufacturing processes and create meaningful and impactful business value reports/dashboards/alerts and alarms for intelligent changes.

  • Be the go-to database expert to guide the team on the most optimal way to process, store, query and manage massive amounts of equipment, sensor and machine data.

  • Use a number of toolsets from traditional SQL to blockchain solutions to generate powerful insights for our manufacturing customers based on properly structured and clean real-time data.

  • Collect and evaluate data and feedback from customers to continually improve Arcstone’s toolsets.


What are the requirements of the job?


Must-have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics and database optimization

  • Able to learn how to use new software quickly

  • SQL (working with queries, views, stored procedures, triggers and different SQL functions)

  • SQL Optimization (indexing, complex joins and query optimization, automation with archiving and categorizing when massive amounts of data is collected/utilized)

  • Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming

  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server

  • Development of high-quality database solutions

  • Proven track-record of critical thinking and problem-solving ability

  • Learning & understanding complex manufacturing processes to bring data and order to the system and provide value to the data collected for manufacturers


Good-to-have Skills:

  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (eg power Bi) is a plus

  • Experience with advanced analytical toolsets, such as SPC, Statistical analysis, Machine Learning, etc.

  • Good communication skills

  • Comfort with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a dynamic business landscape; flexible with no 9 to 5 mentality

  • Self-motivated and driven to excel and deliver, able to handle stress with a positive attitude

  • Team player with a no ego and collaborative attitude

  • Strong fluency in English (spoken and written)

  • Willingness to travel (when needed and allowed under safety measures)
